Peru - Doña Elsa Zambora - Micro-Lot

from 7.00

Donã Elsa Zambora purchased her farm in 2006 and has been producing high-quality specialty coffee ever since. Her farm produces lettuce, onions, bananas, and limes in addition to her spectacular coffee. Doña Elsa has incorporated an extended drying process in addition to fermenting several coffee varietals at once to achieve the final result she’s looking for. Doña Elsa has been a member of COOPAFSI for 6 years and plans to continue producing high-quality specialty coffee. After drying, the coffee is sent to COOPAFSI for dry milling and preparation for export. COOPAFSI was established in 1969 in an effort to promote gender equality in coffee production and has focused heavily on ways to improve both the quality of coffee and return of investment back to the community.

We fell in love with coffee from Peru a few years ago after offering a different coffee from the Cajamarca region. This new offering won’t let you down, it’s a smooth drinking washed coffee that can easily be an all day drinker.
