We are thrilled to provide our first Nicaraguan offering, and over the top for this coffee from La Sajonia Estate.  This estate located in the Matagalpa and Jingotega regions in the north of Nicaragua is currently owned and operated by Tom and Matt Hills, two British brothers who purchased the estate in 2010.  The brothers commitment to quality is impressive as evidenced by this beautiful fully washed, 100% red catuai offering.   The work they have done on the estate improving the agricultural and processing methods is apparent from the roasting of the beans through to your cup.  We look forward to more of La Sajonia's offerings in the coming years.

Tasting Notes: Rich caramel aromas lead to caramel and nutty flavors with a buttery thick body and clean and quick aftertaste.  A very classic cup of Central American coffee.
